Vikings pull away from Blackford, 59-47

The Huntington North Vikings opened the the First Federal Savings Classic at Huntington North Arena with a 59-47 win over Blackford at Huntington North Arena Saturday morning. It marks the third win in a row for the Vikings as they advance to the championship game Saturday night against the winner of New Haven and Hamilton Southeastern matchup.

The Vikings used a balance offense to turn an early deficit into the 12-point win. The Vikings were led by Brock Gowers 12 points, followed by Jordan Beaver and Klye Bradburn with 10 a piece. Scheduled tipoff for the championship game is around 7:45 p.m.
