After a rather uneventful start to the second half, the Foresters, who were up 42-36 with just under 13 minutes to play, started firing on all cylinders to take control of the game. Two free throws by Sarah Miller started the Forester rampage as they went on to score on 19 of their final 22 possessions. HU scored 48 points in the second half thanks to a 15-for-25 shooting performance which included 3-for-4 from behind the arc. The Foresters' ability to take care of the ball also contributed to their success as they only committed three turnovers in the final twenty minutes of play.
Miller led the way for the Foresters with 17 points and four assists. Jenna Donaldson and Lauren Meese each chipped in 14 points while Courtney Beerbower and Kelsey Green added 11 points each. Allison Reece finished with 18 points to lead the Trojans.
