HUNTINGTON, IN—Huntington University is offering a musical theater dance class that is open to the community.
All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. The warm-up will help participants strengthen and stretch their muscles by incorporating elements of yoga and Pilates. Then each week the class will work on a combination.
Participants must be at least 16 years old. The course will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning July 7 in the dance studio in the Merillat Complex for Physical Education and Recreation. The class will be taught by Melissa Duffer, adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theatre Arts.

HUNTINGTON, IN—On June 29, the Anchor Room Bookstore will host a party celebrating the release of "Evangelism REmixed: Empowering Students for a Courageous and Contagious Faith." The book, to be released July 1, is co-authored by Dr. David Rahn, director of the graduate youth ministry leadership programat Huntington University, and Dr. Terry Linhart, dean of the School of Religion and Philosophy at Bethel College.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at 4530 Lahmeyer Road, Fort Wayne.

HUNTINGTON, IN—The Huntington University Department for Theatre Arts, is seeking an actor to portray the role of “Robert” in the university’s fall 2009 production of "Proof."
The department is in search of an excellent community or non-equity local male actor in his late 40s to early 60s from the Fort Wayne or Huntington area.
Auditions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, in the Studio Theatre of the university’s Merillat Centre for the Arts.
Sides will be provided at the audition. No monologues need be prepared. Sides will be available prior to audition and will be posted on the callboard for pick up anytime during weekly business office hours, or the slides can be emailed PDF format. Please bring a résumé and headshot stapled together to the audition.

Friends of Mike Coolman, Class of 1987, and Huntington County Teachers are putting together the 3rd Annual Memorial Golf Outing in memory of HNHS History teacher and 1987 graduate Mike Coolman. Mike passed away in the fall of 1986 from cancer and the tournament proceeds will go towards a college fund to benefit his two children Jared and Jennifer Coolman.
When: Friday, June 26, registration begins at 11:00 with a noon shotgun start.

HUNTINGTON, IN—Huntington University’s EXCEL Adult Degree Program will offer a Saturday course on Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint.
The class will be held on July 11 and July 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the university’s Science Hall and may be taken as a visitor or for college credit. The course is one credit hour.
If the course is taken for credit, the cost is $310, and that includes books. For visitors, the cost is $175 plus books.
