By Leon HurlburtToday's prescription medications are incredibly addictive, available and destructive; and savvy kids know just how easy it is to source their next high. To combat this problem I have set up drop off areas throughout the city where anyone can drop off any prescription medications that need to be disposed of. The two primary spots are the Huntington County Jail and the Huntington County Health Department. You can drop off the prescription medication from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. I am currently working with the Huntington City Police Department to offer a third site at the city police department. If you have any questions you can call me at my office at 356-4488.
