Mary C. Lee, age 86, formerly of 4 West Sunnydale Drive, Huntington, died at 6:03 a.m. Saturday (September 19, 2009) at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mary was born on May 18, 1923, in Huntington, the daughter of Emery and Orpha (Holmes) Drabenstot. She married Frank C. Lee on August 25, 1939 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1991. Mary was a homemaker and a carver at Bircraft Co. She later lived at Heritage Pointe in Warren. She was a very kind and loving wife and mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary loved her son-in-laws like sons and was faithful to the end.

Survivors include – two daughters – Nancy (Duane) Kilty of Huntington and Katherine (LeRoy) Scott of Huntington; one sister – Jane Richardson of Dalton, AL, seven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and eight and a half great-great-grandchildren. Her five brothers – William Drabenstot, Richard Drabenstot, Mike Drabenstot, Robert Drabenstot, and Jimmy Drabenstot, and two sisters – Helen Martin and Ethel Prough, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. Monday (September 21, 2009) at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday (September 22, 2009) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Rev. Larry Taylor. Burial will be at the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, Huntington.
