Barbara Nadine Soper

 Barbara Nadine Soper Aufdenkampe, age 83, of Huntington, died at 7:17 a.m. Monday (February 1, 2010) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Nadine was born on February 7, 1926 in Huntington, the daughter of Carl & Erma (Hart) Martin.  She graduated from Huntington High School in 1944.  On December 8, 1945, Nadine married Horace Soper and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1967.  She then married Robert Aufdenkampe in September 29, 1990 and he died in September 29, 1995.

Nadine retired after 10 years of service working for First National Bank of Huntington from 1978-1988.  She also worked for McCombs Hallmark Store from 1970-1978. 

Survivors include one son – Daniel L. Soper of Huntington; one daughter – Shari (Daniel) Bracht of Huntington; one sister – Carlene (Wayne) Beemler of Bear,Delaware; and three grandchildren.  Her parents, her husbands, and a brother – Ned H. Martin preceded her in death.

Visitation will be 3 - 7 p.m. Thursday (February 4, 2010) at Bailey-Love Mortuary.   The Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday (February 5, 2010) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Greg Hiatt officiating.  Burial will be in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington.
