Francis Hill

Frances Hill, age 68, of Huntington, died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday (March 14, 2010) at Norwood Health and Rehabilitation, Huntington.

Frances was born on June 19, 1941 in Hazzard, Kentucky to Edward and Hattie (Jones) Hill.  She worked for the Locke Steel Chain Co. in Huntington.  Frances loved gardening, flowers, crocheting and her grandsons.

Survivors include two daughters – Rick (Penny) Curry of Huntington, and Chris (Roxanne) Britten of Warren; one brother – Kenneth Hill of Huntington; two sisters – Bob (Christine) Voght of Huntington, and Bill (Patricia) Szojak of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren – James R. Curry of Huntington, Jason D. Curry of Huntington, Jaron I. Curry of Huntington and Jack Corbin Britten of Warren; and one great grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James and Richmond Hill.

Visitation will be from 3 - 7 p.m. Wednesday (March 17, 2010) at Bailey – Love Mortuary.  The funeral service will then be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (March 18, 2010) also at Bailey – Love Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Carrell officiating.  Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
