Rebecca "Becky" J. England

 Rebecca “Becky” J. England, age 59, of Huntington, died at 8:02 p.m., Monday (March 8, 2010), at Parkview Hospital,Fort Wayne.

Becky was born on May 22, 1950, in Bluffton, Indiana, the daughter of Rev. Joseph and Virginia (Myers) Sumwalt.  She graduated from Huntington High School in 1968.  Becky married Rodger K. England on August 22, 1980 in Huntington and he survives.

Becky was a homemaker, and a supervisor for 5 years at Economy Machine in Roanoke.  Becky was also a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Huntington, and a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years – Rodger K. England of Huntington; her parents – Rev. Joseph (Virginia) Sumwalt of Warren, Indiana; one son – Thomas J. Saunders of Huntington; one daughter – Nikki Saunders of Huntington; two brothers – Dan (Marsha) Sumwalt of Huntington, and Bill (Sarah) Sumwalt of Huntington; one sister – Susie Sumwalt of Bluffton; three grandchildren – Kristina, Arianna and Hayden Saunders of Huntington.  She is preceded in death by her grandson, Devin Saunders.

Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. on Friday (March 12, 2010) at Bailey – Love Mortuary. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday (March 13, 2010) at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1555 Flaxmill Road, Huntington, Indiana,46750 with Pastor Kevin Dunlop and Gene Vickery officiating.  Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
