Huntington County's property taxes being 3X Wells County. They are building new plants and expanding existing business's and Huntington has no new industry. Wouldn't we be better off if we moved to Wells? Lower taxes and more new jobs.

"...Huntington has no new industry."
You should be embarrassed as that is a flat out lie.

i think the town of Andrew's is a winner, because council woman Fran felts left town, i also think Huntington county is a looser because of her temporary stop at the court house.

The Big Story HAS to be our local government's embarrassing financial faux pas. Does anyone remember that the problem has not been addressed yet? The only action taken has been to raid the piggy bank for a quick fix Band-Aid type short term solution to get off of the front page for a while.
The problem still exists and might just end up being Huntington's Top Story of 2010 as well.

How about the fact that an inordinate number of people on this website give rise the the rumors that Huntington county leads the state in % of inbred families?
Increase your LOIT !! All wage earners are taxed the same and that's fair. Look to your west for example.
