There seems to be a several of things we can take away from Tuesday night's Wisconsin recall election as Governor Scott Walker rolled to a 53.2 % to 46.3% win of Tome Barrett:
- The Democrats are poised to regain control of the Wisconsin Senate
- Money still matters in politics (Walker outspent Barret 8/1)
- Walker can thank Obama supporters and union members for his win
- President Obama may not be in as much trouble as R's want you to think in Wisconsin
- Unions are the root of all evil
- Wisconsin has way to many elections!
Am I missing anything?

"The Democrats are poised to regain control of the Wisconsin Senate."
Good. We need a few leaders who aren't bought and paid for by the criminals who run ALEC.
"Money still matters in politics (Walker outspent Barret 8/1)"
Rich criminals that want to break workers rights and rescind environmental protection laws so that people can drink poisoned water and breath poisoned air have a lot of money to keep people like Walker in office.
"Unions are the root of all evil"
More like a side effect of anti-worker free exploitation laws. Now we see more free exploitation laws like Indiana Right To Work which is designed to break unions and leave people at the mercy of their employers for basic subsistence level wages and enough health insurance to provide for their families. ALEC was behind that too...
"Wisconsin has way to many elections!"
Shame their voters aren't smart enough to use them to get rid of people like Walker which screw them over so badly.

I should add that Scott Walker also supported legislation called the SCREW THE PEOPLE ACT which would have sent the protesters the bills for the police thugs that were sent out to beat, torture, and murder them.
What we have going on in the US today is sort of like "the peace of Rome".
Behave, let the rich and well connected do whatever they want, pay your taxes as they evade theirs and trade political favors from corrupt officials, and if you complain about it we'll send the police out to hurt you.
If you thought Mitch Daniels was bad, we can have our own Scott Walker here in Indiana by electing Mike Pence.

Our own state senator is a member of ALEC.

The thing that Walker did that has slipped by nearly everyone is the fact that he and his circle of insiders considered sending trouble makers out into the demonstrators during the massive protests. Walker admitted it during the fake Koch call and I have had that confirmed to me by a person that was in on that conversation. The other person in on that strategy session commented "that isn't a smoking gun is it?" That type of attitude and admitting of it should have been investigated and his (and the rest in the room) resignations forthcoming. This is America, not a third world country with a dictator.
