I want to thank Gary Snyder Show team member and Politico Money & Politics reporter Abby D. Phillip as she takes a job at ABC News in New York City (can't blame her I guess). I first met (actually the only face-to-face meeting) Abby in Kokomo, Indiana as she was there covering President Obama's visit to Chrysler for Politico.com. I was standing in the press line and she asked if I could move my big head (later uttered by Joe Montana on the Notre Dame sideline, but that's a different story) so she could get a picture of the president.
I did move, but only under the condition she appears on my radio show as a weekly guest for her entire career, or at least until she gets a job at ABC News and the rest is history. Abby has reported on the show from the basement of the White House but must best be remembered calling into the show from the White house lawn while being chased away by the Secret Service. Good luck Abby and don't be a stranger!
