8-29 Update: Sources tell The Gary Snyder Show a grand jury has been convened in Whitley County looking into the sexual misconduct allegations against President of the Huntington County Commissioners, Tom Wall. Sources also go on to say the grand jury is set to end it's work on or around September 27th. Still no public statement from Huntington County commissioner as he pushes forward with reelection.
Update: Sources tell The Gary Snyder Show the Indiana State Police have concluded their investigation into the sexual misconduct allegation against Tom Wall and that a special prosecutor from Whitley County has been assigned to the case. And still no media coverage?
As we wait for Tom Wall, President of the Huntington County Commissioners, to publicly explain the Indiana State Police investigation of sexual misconduct allegations against him, possibly a civil lawsuit and/or a civil settlement (did you see the flower shop just sold), one has to wonder where the outrage is within our fine group of elected officials and Republican Party faithful?
Where are the calls from fellow commissioners Leon Hurlburt and Cathy Branham (or any Republican elected official or candidate) for Tom to make a public statement? And it doesn't even have to be a big public statement, an "I didn't do it" would suffice!
Where are the calls from the Huntington County Republican Party for an explanation on why a young lady filed sexual misconduct allegations with the Huntington County Prosecutors office which was referred to the Indiana State Police for investigation? Hell, he pretty much admitted to something like this happening and warned us a "blogger" would be writing about it back at a Republican Party breakfast in April. Pssst. Hey Tom, it's radio show host now. That's right, they set the bar for this kind of low for this activity long ago.
As we head towards the general election, Tom Wall and the Huntington County Republicans are hoping to steam roll the allegations of this young lady into the Republican abyss with the rest of their dirty. Will you let it happen?

Another black eye for Huntington, he needs to resign before this hits the news. We do not need another Updike on Wane TV.

Tom does a lot of advertising in the local papers, especially the TAB. Why would they take a chance and lose that advertising money.

I thought the idea of a grand jury investigation was to secretly figure out if legal charges are to come about and that a crime is committed. Just sayin

True Paula, but, Gary prefers the Kangaroo Court of Snyder and is quite miffed when people he is slandering simply ignore his carpetbagging ass.

Judge, I think you mean libel, not slander. And let's be honest, even Tom said something happened, she was just a disgruntled employee? Do you really think people are ignoring? You're not?
