This week we got polling data regarding the Indiana governor’s race and the U.S. Senate race. When you throw in the latest from Rasmussen it tells me that U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock really needs to start doing some reaching out to those “Lugar Republicans” if he wants to be sure of a victory in November.
To get you fully up to speed, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce released a poll showing Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Pence doing very well against Democrat John Gregg, 50-32, with 3 percent going for Libertarian Rupert Boneham. The remaining 15 percent were undecided. The poll of 600 registered voters had a margin of error of 4 percent.
Rasmussen recently released a presidential poll showing Republican Mitt Romney beating Barack Obama, 51-35.
