Huntington County Commissioner Tom Wall has been indicted on 7 Class B misdemeanor battery counts against two women on Friday. According to police, several women made allegations that Wall had inappropriately touched them at different times over the last year-and-a-half. Wall has turned himself in to the Huntington County Jail and bonded out.
The Gary Snyder Show first broke the story back in June and other news organization started picking up on the story when this website published a copy of one of the witness subpoena's last Friday.

what was the bond set for? why didn't he get escorted to the jail after court like the common man?

What do you call one local bureaucrat in the county jail?
A good start.

"why didn't he get escorted to the jail after court like the common man?"
Indiana law says that the police can't just arrest you for committing a misdemeanor if an officer didn't personally see you do it.
In Huntington, it can take them a month or two to get back to you if the prosecutor decides to go along with it.
I hope it goes without saying that "the police are only your friends if you're six years old and lost" and to shut up and refuse to tell them anything if you're being arrested.

If this is a mugshot the background looks like from sheriff Stoffel's office..

If this is a actual mugshot the background is from sheriff Stoffels office and not for normal intake procedures.

The findings of the Grand Jury mean that sufficient evidence was found to allow the prosecuting attorney to consider formal charges. He hasn't been arrested yet because he hasn't been charged with anything. Since the prosecutor is from another county, the local Masons will have no influence over the decision - neither will local politics. Everyone knows that Gary relishes in watching local politicians with a deep family history fall and fail, so he's got to be a very happy man right now. Aren't ya Gary?
No one knows the specifics of the evidence yet which is probably just sworn testimony and no 'smoking gun'. So just give it a rest until, and if, formal charges are filed and this gets played out in the courts.

The grand jury did come back with 7 indictments of Class B misdemeanor battery, he turned himself in and bonded out (that's where the mug shot came from). The trial if it isn't pleaded, will happen right here in Huntington county. As for me relishing watching local politicians with a deep family history fall and fail, sure if they did something to deserve it. I am happy for the two very young ladies had the courage to come forward and do something about this PREDaTOR and I hope they take him for every penny they deserve. Don't blame me for what these politicians did, Huntington should be buying me dinner! FYI: he was formally charged...duh
