INDIANAPOLIS – Gubernatorial candidate John Gregg announced that his campaign will suspend airing campaign ads today in honor of the eleventh anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Gregg’s ads will resume airing on September 12.
“September 11 is a day for reflection and it just would not be right to air political ads on such a somber day,” Gregg said. “There are still 56 days to go until the election. That gives the candidates plenty of time to talk and to air their ads. On this day, the right thing to do is take a day to pray and remember those who lost their lives on that day, as well as those that have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country in the last eleven years.”
