Kenny Zuk was a landslide winner of The Gary Snyder Show poll. With nearly 800 votes cast, Kenny Zuk easily outpaces indicted Huntington County Commissioner Tom Wall . Wall faces 7 counts of Class B misdemeanor battery against 2 women heading into the election.
If the 2012 election for Huntington County Commissioner were held today, who would you vote for?
Ken Zuk - 57.5%
Tom Wall - 42.5%

Of course Ken Zuk won the Gary Snyder poll, it is a pro-democrate site. So what is with Zuk's slogan, "This calls for a change" , I assume Zuk is making reference to Wall. If that is the case then I say what happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty? Not just for Wall but for all of us. From what I understand, the charges are Battery. Not sexual battery. Would anyone ever hear of this if Wall was a farmer and not a commissioner ?
I am interested in what Zuk has done for our community, heck, I would like to know where he came from, what his education is, if he believes in God, does he have a criminal history, what are his plans for out community. Zuk has made it clear that he believes Wall is guilty, so are we to assume Zuk was present during the alleged battery or rather should we cancel the trial and send a guy to jail without due process because Zuk is certain Wall is guilty. One thing I know for sure, this pointing fingers is dangerous. Wether it is you or me or Wall or John Q. Public. I want to vote for the candidate that I feel will best help our community with that frame of mind it concern's me greatly that Zuk is basing his campaign as "this calls for a change", pointing a finger at a fellow American who HAS helped this community in many documented ways, pointing a finger at Wall, least we not forget, we are all innocent until proven guilty.

Where do we start? First of all, by saying "it's a pro-democrate site" what I think you mean to say is it's not a far-right ass kissing site or show? History shows on this site and my show, Libertarians usually win polls here when included? And as you can tell, I have advertisers from all parties. You may want to take a look at my past guest list, all political parties again...BAM! You are correct, it is battery and not sexual battery. As the special prosecutor said, it is battery on 2 different women for touching them inappropriately. If you want to know these things about Zuk, just ask him, I'm sure he is more than willing to sit down and have that conversation. I for one do beleive the women and so did the grand jury to return seven counts against Tommy. I'm sure Tommy has done many things to help the community but that does not excuse the battery of these to 20-something old women who worked for him. What about them in this case. You can vote for whom you want, but do you want to vote for someone under indictment for charges that could put him in jail for up to 3 1/2 years? If he's reelected and convicted, does he hit the commissioners meeting via work release? It may be me, but I prefer my candidates no to have a current mug shot?

No sir, those were not my words however I am not surprised that you chose to use foul language BAM. I do not know these women, I do not know the content of their morals, I do know that this is a she said / he said...again innocent until proven guilty....it's the law...BAM. My concern is of Gary Snyder, (you, ) Zuk and ANYONE, of any race, religion or political party condemning, another human being before due process. However, it is becoming clear to me that this campaign is not about truth, due process, 2 women or the man on the moon, rather it is about capitalizing on someone else's misfortune. Which leads me to one question, what are you, Gary Snider and Zuk trying to hide? Wall, wether innocent or guilty is not something to base a campaign on. What merits does your party rep stand for. What is he willing to do for our community? You, Gary Snyder, are coming across as degrading and somewhat rude. In my earlier post I presented several questions, in response I was cursed at......is that verbal battery. And, this grand jury, they handed down 7 indictment's for battery, which is defined as being treated in a rude and insulant manner, if the grand jury thought there was any proof whatsoever of a sexual crime then perhaps this would be a different conversation, however, by definition of battery, I would say that anyone who has ever lost their temper with another, yes even you, Gary Snyder, should be prosecuted for battery. Think about that, ever argue with an in-law, teenager, the meter maid....seriously. Hiding behind this "scandals" is yellow. Zuk should stand on his own two feet, & stick to the issues. I asked you what Zuk stand for, several time, maybe you didn't hear me.....I am a voter, I asked about his views on and plans for our community, you told me to go ask him. Seriously? I have heard all about "bad republican candidate " for Gary Snyder's, (you) website but nothing about what I really want to know, and that is what plans does Zuk have for our community. Choosing one person over another because of political party affiliations is sophomoric, not liberal, basing my vote on who will do the most good for our community and country is a very responsible way to help guide this great country of ours. Frankly, your stance on this issue scare's me.

Sounds to me like you are blaming the victims here. Hey, "I do not know these women, I do not know the content of their morals" , are you blaming them. They were probably asking for it from Tommy, after all, he is an upstanding member of the community. lol. Tommy will get his day in court and then I hope these women sue the hell out of the "alleged" predator. Again, why do you assume I'm a Democrat, you know what happens when you assume. FYI, I am the host of the Gary Johnson for President rally (libertarian) tomorrow. Verbal battery? You are really comparing that to inappropriately touching two of your female employees? It is because of apologists liky you that have given us elected officials like Tommy.

From where I am setting something happened between Wall and the young ladies or the GRAND JURY would not have handed the decision they did. Last time I looked Wall was a married man, also being an elected official, he is and should be held to a higher standard. Whether he is guilty or not he should not have been stupid enough to be in the position with the young ladies, just doesn't look good.
We will see what kind of Man he really is, a real Man who cares about his family, party and community would belly up to the bar resign thereby saving the above more embarrassment.
I travel around to other areas of the state and again as in a couple of years ago we are the blunt of a lot of jokes. Its hard enough to bring business to our community and with this negative news is just adds to the problems.

Oh my gosh you are so wrong headed. The cursing and also putting words in my mouth, I don't think your a nice man. You need to re-read my statements and stop putting your spin on what I have said.

K,
I'm wrong headed? Aren't you the one who so much called the girls sluts? Questioned whether Kenny believed in GOD? Accused Kenny of hiding something. Yeah, I'm wrong headed.

Oh my.. I am sorry for you and for how you see people. Of course I did not indicate in any way that these ladies are.......well the word YOU said. That must be your personnel thoughts coming out, and I also did NOT accuse Zuk of anything, I asked a question.
Ok so you do not seem to be rational. You seem to have an agenda that I am not privy to. My unanswered questions were met with vulgar hostility. I will pray for you, conversation over.

K; Sounds to me that you are trying to blame the victims. Remember that Tom Wall is the accused. Remember that his brother the cop (Donnie), tried to white wash this whole thing and sweep it under the carpet. That would have happened if the Police Chief didn't step in.

Look, I've never heard of this show, even though I lived in Huntington for 8 years (I'm currently at Ball State). However, I'm happy to see that you're a Johnson supporter. Not because I support Johnson, as I'm a Green Party guy, but I love how you look at your options and don't defend a guy like Wall just because he's currently in office. I know it doesn't mean much coming from a gut who admitted to never hearing about your show, but keep up the good work.
