Sources close to the Tom Wall case indicate that he has no plans to resign even after a) he accepts a plea deal after the election, as we have reported or b) is found guilty on any of the 7 misdemeanor battery charges.
My sources (again, have been correct on every aspect of this case) indicate Tom Wall will not resign if reelected and found guilty or pleads out. Tom argues that if reelected, the public voted for him knowing he could be found guilty and that justifies his staying in office for four more years.
These same sources indicate Tom is pulling "the girls are sluts" defense, "it's Gary Snyder's fault" and they are just disgrunteled employees public relations defense. There are indications Tom Wall has sold his trailor parks. A note on a tenant's trailer at the park indicated there was a new owner.
For the record, both Tom Wall and Kenny Zuk have been invited for interviews on The Gary Snyder Show on only Kenny Zuk has accpted.

I am utterly astonished and dumbfounded as to why Tom said no to an interview with you. I’m equally shocked that Kenny Z accepted and will now have airtime so you two can catch up on old times. You’re as transparent as a black trash bag. I mean, you’re so unbiased and have never had any agendas for the entire time you’ve been involved or around Huntington County politics.

For the record, one of the victims and her family are staunch Republicans. Politics has nothing to do with this from their stand-point.
Furthermore, if anyone is a slut, it's Tom.

cj parker you should be utterly astonished and dumbfounded that this guy doesn't resign, thus showing humility and allowing a less tarnished individual to hold office. He's utterly unAmerican and a complete embarrassment to this county.

Disgusted,
The “agenda” has nothing to do with the alleged victims. And as I previously stated, if he is guilty, then he should go to jail. The agenda has to do with how the story is being covered, especially by Gary, whose former best bud just happens to be running for the office that Tom holds. That’s the agenda. I’ve never at any time said anything about the alleged accusers; I don’t know their story, so I don’t past judgment or condemn. Far cry different from how people here have been commenting however.
Patriot,
Your handle is laughable. If that were the case, then it would be hard to find a clean politician. Have you taken a look at the political landscape in our nation lately? The news? Or even local politics in the last 10 years? Your “patriotism” as a thinly-veiled cover for your dislike of the man. I can tell that and I’m not even a Tom Wall fan or Republican.

Uh, CJ, Gary, a radio show host, can cover and say what he wants without having to explain. Why don't you make an appointment and we can work on self awareness issues to help you with this overly burdensome ego and obsession with righting all of Gary's "wrongs".

Dr. Phil (Aka, Drinker of Gary's Koolaide),
Simply pointing out the hypocrisy that Gary displays, pretending that his ONLY reason for reporting on these stories is to enlighten Huntington County on what's wrong with their politicians, in an effort to hold them accountable.
If you've been here long enough, then you would know that Gary was more than once, a political hopeful here in good old Huntington. In fact, he rose to the position of democrat party chair (well briefly), by narrow margin of ONE vote, the vote of his good “former” best bud Kenny Zuk, who was the outgoing chairman. The same Kenny Zuk, who just so happens to be running against Tom Wall.
Get your head out of the glass and connect the dots. Any time Gary posts something about Huntington politics, I always try to find the REAL motive. They are never pure and altruistic. Never have been. Never will be.
Maybe you need to spend some time on the couch, Doc.

CJ, I never claimed not to have an agenda, everyone does. you do by posting what you do. The more important thing to be discussing is not whether there is an agenda or not, but if the information correct and i have been 99% of the time.

good grief parker, it's election time and americans discuss and evaluate candidates. It's customary for local papers to as well but that is no longer the case in Huntington county because of some weird social defect. I agree with dr phil that you are the one with the agenda, or problem in your case. IT IS OK TO PUBLICIZE A CANDIDATE THAT IS UP FOR ELECTION. PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE OK PARKER. THE TRIAL ITSELF WILL BE PUBLIC. YOU GOING??????
